Participation medals for the Olympic Games were not created; however, participants were given Exposition medals with the same design using three different finishes: gilt bronze, silvered bronze and bronze.

The Olympic Games Paris 1900 took place during the 1900 Universal Exposition or World's Fair held in Paris from April 14 to Nov. 12, 1900.
