Fun fact(s):
Outside his native Germany, Fritz Koenig is probably best known as the sculptor of the iconic Grosse Kugelkaryatide, or "The Sphere," that centered the World Trade Center plaza until it was covered under wreckage from the collapsed Twin Towers on Sept. 11, 2001.
