Red, round aluminum handle with the Olympic Games Montreal 1976 emblem in white in center. Black top of torch is perforated with holes to assist with combustion of fuel saturated cotton located inside. 26 inches high.

Designer: George Huel and Michael Dall
Manufacturer: Queensway Machine Products

Fuel: Olive oil, adjuvant and smoke cartridge. The choice of fuel evoked Ancient Greece. Combustion duration approximately 10 minutes.

Fun fact(s):
The holes at the top of the Montreal Olympic torch represent the aboriginals of Canada while the red handle represents Canada and the ethnic groups of the country.
