White and gold cylindrical torch with five, vertical, white prongs wrapping upward around the torch and "PyeongChang Olympic Winter Games" in center. The white and gold tones of the torch mirror the main colours of the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games. Five-pronged star cut out in gold and repeats on white bottom half of the torch. The torch is exactly 700mm in length representing the altitude of PyeongChang of 700 meters above sea level. 27.6 inches high.

Fuel: Designed for flame to burn in all weather conditions and withstand strong winds, heavy snowfall and rain.
Fun fact(s):
The star shape on the torch is Hangul, a character from the Korean alphabet and is used in the name of the PyeongChang region. The star symbolizes the Games' vision for opening new horizons and peace and harmony brought together by the Games.

Tha Hanwha Corporation also made the Seoul 1988 Olympic torch.
