Front: Winged Nike of Paionios above Panathinaikos Stadium, Acropolis in background, Olympic rings above. Legend across the top, "XXIX Olympiad Beijing 2008."

Back: Beijing Olympic emblem at center, encircled by a ring of jade. Sport engraved at top with event at bottom.

Ribbon: Red with Chinese design and "Beijing 2008" in white lettering. Ribbon holder is inspired by the ancient Chinese jade design known as "huang" which is associated with the Double Dragon.
Medal presented in fabric covered case
