Alvin "Al" Kraenzlein won four gold individual plaques in track and field in the men's 60-meter, 110-meter hurdles, 200-meter hurdles and the long jump at the Olympic Games Paris 1900.

The Paris 1900 Games were held as part of the Universal Exposition, or World's Fair, from April 14-Nov. 12, 1900. No official medals were awarded; instead, winners received "objets d'ar."
